It’s the last week of N’s paternity leave – she ‘shared’ four weeks of mine, which we are so thankful for given the current circumstances. We have attempted to practice the new normal – whatever that may be & tried our best at getting out of the house to prevent us becoming even bigger recluses than we sometimes can be…
So, we ventured further along the Thames Path than we did the other day.
We walked 12.7km, stopped off for a packed lunch on a Viaduct, chatted about Leo, spotted Robins, spoke about our concerns for the post mortem results in a few weeks, discussed the ins and outs of social media and ‘fitspiration’, attempted to not get stuck in mud and just enjoyed the fresh air. It started off overcast, and brightened up throughout the afternoon. It was good to get out – it turned around a day that started somewhat tense and vulnerable. And now a sit down and a cuppa feels like the most earned one of the past few weeks.
Hope everyone else is having a good Monday.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other.
